May I order by phone?
Yes, you can call us at our warehouse during regular business hours: business days from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at 1 (800) 861-5440 ext. 702.


Can you sell and ship liquors such as grappa and lemoncello?
Unfortunately no.  The State of North Carolina owns their own Liquor Stores and allows private retail stores to sell only wine and beer.

Do you have any minimums on orders for delivery?
There are no minimums for shipping, pick-up, or local delivery; however, local delivery orders less than $150.00 are subject to a $12.75 delivery charge.

Can I pick up the wine at your store?
Yes, you can shop on our website and request in-store pick-up at the checkout section of our website under shipping options. You may also shop on our capriflavors.com website for more Italian specialty items including cheeses.

What is your local delivery area?
We offer local delivery to the Wake County, NC area. A delivery fee of $12.75 will be charged for orders totaling less than $150.

Are shipments insured?
Insurance is included in the shipping cost.

When can I expect shipment?
We make every effort to process your order as quickly as possible. Most orders ship within 1 and 5 business days. On occasion, items in limited supply will be placed on back-order and we will notify you by e-mail when they become available. If an item contained in your order needs to be ordered, we will hold your entire order until all items arrive to save on your shipping charges unless you specify otherwise. We only ship wine via UPS.

What is your summer and winter shipping policy?
Excessive exposure to heat can seriously damage the quality of wine. Capri Flavors will not ship any wine when temperatures are above 90 degrees or below 32 degrees Fahrenheit in our area or in the area of the order's destination. Capri Flavors Wine is not liable for any packages damaged due to hot or cold weather.  We will keep the order in our temperature-controlled storage facility at no additional cost to you until it is safe to ship. If you wish to expedite shipping due to time sensitivity, please contact us at 1 (800) 861-5440 ext. 702  (Monday - Friday:  9:30 a.m - 5:30 p.m. EST).

What should I do if no one is available to sign for my shipment, or if the person isn't of legal age?
Many customers choose to have their order sent to their work address so that an adult is present to sign for it. If an order is sent to a home address and an adult is not present, UPS will try to deliver twice more on consecutive business days. UPS will furnish their telephone number on the door tags they leave so that the customer can call to arrange pick up of their package at the local UPS facility if they would like. UPS will hold packages for five days if a customer tells them that they are coming to pick up their package. If the customer does not contact UPS, or if the package is not picked up within the five day window, UPS will return the package to us. We will need to charge for re-shipping packages.

How can I track my order?
The Order Fulfillment email will contain your UPS Tracking Number, which you can enter at ups.com to track your package. If you have further questions, please feel free to contact us at 1 (800) 861-5440 ext. 702  (Monday - Friday:  9:30 a.m - 5:30 p.m. EST).

Refunds on Wine:
The North Carolina Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control and applicable Federal Law states that alcoholic beverages can only be returned or exchanged if the product is spoiled, deteriorated, or contaminated.

Do you carry all the listed wines?
All the wines are in stock in our warehouse. However, some wines may have limited inventory and may not available in large quantities.  Please be assured that we will try to restock our wines promptly through our wine distributor. When a wine is listed as out of stock, that means that it is expected to come back in stock soon. Please feel free to contact us about any Italian Wine that you would like to buy that you do not find in our website or that is out of stock and we will make every effort to find it from our vendors.

How safe is my personal and credit card information when shopping on your website?
We continually work to safeguard and protect your personal information.   During order transmission, we utilize Secure Socket Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts all information that you input. Additionally, we reveal only the last four digits of your credit card numbers when confirming an order and we transmit the entire credit card number to the appropriate credit card company during order processing. Please, be sure to sign off when you are using a shared computer.
